Aquaclan Chiil Hub~ River

Deerstar was wading in the water relaxing as the sun shone on his dark pelt. He squinted his eyes as he looked up at the sun You'll shine as bright as the sun he remembered as his first crush told him before leaving him for another tom because she said 'He deserves more and she's too much for him since he's too good and she doesn't deserve him' he blocked out the memory as he dove underwater and saw the fish flash by in happiness. He dived down deeper and came back up laughing and ghasping for air at the same time.

Moonshard was out collecting margold and giraffe leaves when she saw Deerstar. She set down her herbs and scampered up a tree to watch.

Moonkit dabbed his paw into the water, sending small droplets of crystal liquid spraying into the air. He squeaked as one hit his eye, and he scampered over to Moonshard for help.

Deerstar scented his fellow medicine cat/Healer "Moonshard! I can smell you, come down and join me. The water is nice and cool down here." He flicked a paw welcomingly toward the she-cat in the trees.

Moonshard came down the tree.

Deerstar chuckled, then rose out of the water, his dark pelt shimmering in the sun. He crouched along the edge of the water, waiting patiently. After seconds, the leader's paw flashed out and caught a fish that was swimming in the stream. It flopped out on the ground, its silver scales shimmering.

Moonshard picked up her herbs. She set them down and picked Moonkit up by the scruff. She turned him around. "You need to get back to camp," she said. "Take these herbs and set them in my den." Then she joined Deerstar in the water.

Moonkit sniffed the herbs curiously, before chewing on one hungrily. He scampered off, leaving the leaves behind.

"Moonkit!" Moonshard screamed. She raced after the kit.

Moonkit tumbled to a stop, turning to look at the she-cat with a shaky look. He stared up at her with wide eyes, clearly frightened. "…..?"

He saw Moonkit run back to camp and raised an eyebrow wondering what happened and he walked to shore wondering what was happening until he caught up to moonkit and moonshard "What happened?" he asked quizically.

"Moonkit! You're lucky that those arent poisonous!" Moonshard scolded. She picked Moonkit up by the scruff and hurried to her den. "Now listen, you will have a bellyache and may drool and don't eat anything else of mine if you don't know what it is. What if you ate a deathberry?"

Moonkit tilted his head to the side with a questioning look, before tilting it to the other side. He gazed up at her with playful eyes.

Deerstar went to the kit and licked his head "Don't play with herbs Moonkit, they're bad for you small kits."

Moonkit pawed at Deerstar's nose playfully, mewling quietly as he squirmed restlessly.

Deerstar laughed to himself with one eye half-closed to avoid paw in the eye. He swooped down and grabbed the kit and threw him over his back "Hold On Tight!"

Moonkit squeaked in surprise as he was lifted into the air, paws waving in the air frantically. He tried nipping at Deerstar's ear, only to result in almost falling off.

Moonshard thrust chervil in front of him. "Eat this," Moonshard mewed.

Moonkit blinked and rolled off his ride, sniffing it doubtfully. He stared up at Moonshard as if expectantly something tastier.

Moonshard killed a mouse. She brought a piece over. "Eat the chervil, and you can eat the mouse."

Moonkit perked up and he chewed on the leaves quickly, before turning over to Moonshard expectantly.

Deerstar laughed as the curious kit slid off of his back "I'll pick you up again as soon as my fur dries which won't take long because we're accustomed to that"

Moonshard droped the mouse in front of Moonkit. "Here you go!" she mewed.
